Meet Our Team
Owner and General Manager
A third-generation contractor, Cassady was born with a creative instinct and a heart-wide-open approach to life. After finishing his bachelor’s degree at UC Santa Cruz, Cassady joined the family business hoping to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather and father. He started out cleaning up job sites, interacting with workers and clients, and generally getting a feel for what it’s like to be a builder.
Fast forward 13 years and Cassady is truly carrying on his family legacy. His father, Robert Monsen, instilled in his son a sense of community pride and ownership. Cassady learned from his father how to be transparent and honest, and how to treat clients as people and not customers.
Cassady believes there are three attributes that make a contractor successful: value, expediency, and quality. Any contractor can deliver one of those attributes, and good ones can even hit two. But what makes Construction Services unique is that Cassady delivers on all three.
“What I love most about my work is that I get to serve my clients and families, getting to build homes that are more than just projects or jobs,” Cassady says.
“This is where people raise families, putting their hopes and dreams into their homes.”
You’re going to see a lot of Juan during the course of your project, and that’s a good thing. He’s been with Construction Services since 2007, and he’s an indispensible member of the team. Juan supervises all of our job sites and manages our workers. He also coordinates with subcontractors, suppliers, and architects.
Juan is the definition of calm under pressure. He’s also a strong leader and terrific problem-solver. Juan is easy to talk to, which is great for clients because they know they can call on him or email him about anything related to their projects. Construction Services relies heavily on Juan and his many talents.
